I just received fantastic news!  The National Honor Society, National Science Honor Society and Medical Club at Riverside High School in Leesburg, VA are doing a school wide supply drive.  Devin Hinson has been hard at work to get all the approvals and endorsements required to do a medical supply drive for the foundation and just let me know she got it approved!!!

I am overwhelmed with gratitude that so many people are recognizing the need to help others.  The most needed items are:
  • Surgical gloves
  • Surgical masks
  • Bandages
  • Medical tape
  • Cotton balls
  • Blood sugar monitors
  • Gauze
  • Bandaids

I will post more info as soon as I get it.  Thank you Devin and Riverside High School.

People like you are part of the reason why I still believe there's still angel in this world. Helping other people in their medical needs is such a challenging task. A big thank you for helping our brothers and sisters in Sri Lanka who are in need. Good luck and hope that many more people out there reached out to donate. Let's keep them in high spirit, and as we bring the supplies to them, The smell of people you help is enough to keep on going with this mission.

I asked a foundation before what is their criteria for giving scholarships. They told me they are not looking for kids from a poor family. They also don't care a lot about how high these children's grades are. What they look for in kids is very far from these things I mentioned. They do a short interview and if a child knows the concept of sharing by heart, he is in. This means the child must be fully aware that when times get rough, he should save everyone and not just his own family.

High school maybe memorable for a lot of people. They must believe these are the best days in their life. I sometimes think I am the only one who don't have any happy memories in high school. I may have some friends today but they are not my high school friends. I think I only remember two or three people from my childhood. I am glad to learn that I am not the only one like this. It seems schools maybe nice but it's actually not for everyone. I am not one of the popular ones and it seems they are the only ones who enjoy, not those that try to do things right and just study.
