GETTING READY FOR GHANA
Post by Mai
Hi everyone! I have had a lot going on the past couple months including having the IRS reclassify my foundation as a "public charity" versus a "private foundation". It's confusing but to summarize, it's a really good thing. Both options are 501c3 but a foundation classified as a "public charity" means I can apply for grants and large companies will be more willing to donate based on the fact they get a better tax break.
The prepping for Ghana 2019 is well underway and the medical supplies are being gathered. I had about ten people over to my house a few weeks ago to making more first aid kits to bring to Ghana. We are in need of additional supplies to keep up the production so we will have enough to hand out once we get there in July. We desperately need liquid sutures and the other items listed on the donate page or click on the button below.
If you are willing to help or donate, please let me know. We can use all the help we can get right now.

Please know that you have my 100% support on your Ghan mission 2019! It's been a while since the last time you did a mission, and I am glad to know that you chose a country that is close to your heart; Ghana. People of Ghana need our help, and we should be kind enough to extend our hands to those who need it. I always believe that we should give everything that we can. To those who have something to give, please be kind and gentle enough to offer what you can help!
